If you come to one PA event at school this year, please come to the screening of “Race to Nowhere” on the evening of November 9. I watched the film again last week, and it is just as moving a call to arms now as it was when it was released three years ago.
Our goal is to maximize the number of people in the community who see the film. The ES and MS faculty will join together to watch it on November 2. With shared exposure to its critiques of the current state of American education, parents and teachers can begin a conversation about what the Orchard community can learn from this powerful documentary.
